Merrill Cohen was awarded the highly-prestigious 2006 Congressional Medal of Distinction. Previously, Ms. Cohen received the 2005 Ronald Reagan Gold Medal Award and the 2003 National Leadership Award. Since 2003, she has served as Honorary Co-Chairman of the Business Advisory Council for the National Congressional Republican Committee, and was listed in the National Register of Who's Who of Executives and Professionals 2001-2002.
